Oh no!

So, hello there! It's been over a year since my last post.

As you can see, I've clearly been busy! A hippo has been eating my pepper flavoured cream cheese! No time for creating when that happens, as I'm sure you all know!

Hope to be blogging again soon, but you never know with those hippos.

Monsterpants!

I've knittet monsterpants for my 3 year old. :)

This is what they look like from behind.



It's my first real knitting project. As you can see I ran out of yarn, and the new yarn I bought was from a different batch/ coloring, so one of the legs has a different shade of brown. :( I was sure I had bought enough, next time I'll buy enough and then some..!

New card. :)

The girl is one of the Gorjuss girls, from Sugar Nellie, designed by Suzanne Woolcott. The text is from Kreativ hobby. (It means something like "Enjoy the moments that make you smile.) The design paper is from Thrift shop by October Afternoon.♥

I've colored the girl with Distress ink.

Summer holiday, and finally some sun! :)

My son, my mom an I had a wonderfull trip to Finnmark. :)

So, it's supposed to be summer, or so I've heard.

We've had rain, rain, rain, and then some. I'm waiting for some more of those sunny days..




These shots were taken with my new phone, a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro, after I downloaded the wonderful Vignette Demo app from Android Market.

Konfirmasjonskort :)

Her er et konfirmasjonskort jeg har laget. Bildene ble tatt i all hast før kortet skulle leveres, så kvaliteten er ikke så god.






Håkon er skrevet med alfabetet Chandelier fra QuicKutz.
Til konfirmanten og verset inni er skrevet med fonten Porcelain og printet ut på akvarellpapir. Svertet kantene med Distress ink i fargen Antique Linen. Fuglen på tekstpanelet er fra Tim Holtz stempelsett Flights of Fancy.

My first Sugar Bowl entry.

Here's my card for The Sugar Bowl challenge #30.

I've used a stamp from the Sugar nellie autumn kit 2009. I've colored it with distress ink. The text is from Norsk Stempelblad.

The green bazzill cardstock is sprayed with home made glimmer spray. I've also used some Spellbinder dies, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Bosskut die and flowers by Papirloftet and Prima.

Passion for Promarker challenge

Here's my card for the Passion for Promarker challenge, week 39.




The stamp is Uplifting Occasion from Penny Black, and it's colored with Promarkers. :) The papers are from October Afternoon and Cosmo Cricket.
I've also used Stickles by Ranger, flowers by Prima, Boss Kut diecuts, diecut alphabeth Chandler by Quickutz and rubon letters by Crate paper and cute buttons by Foof-a-la.

RSS challenge #14

Here's my card for challenge #14 at Ready-Steady-Stamp!

And here's the card I made:





The word Friends is metal, and I heat embossed it with copper embossing powder.
I've used a border punch on the photo and inside the card. I've used stamps from the Tim Holtz, Prima Marketing and Norsk Stempelblad.

I didn't like the look of the funky foam star, so I had to think of something to make it fit my project. :P
I heated it with my heatgun, and put it inside a Quick Kutz Goosebumpz folder while it was still hot. That gave the star a nice embossed look. (-And my arm a pretty good burn.. Don't place your arm on a heatgun seconds after you've used it..! ;P )



Then I inked it with Perfect Medium and added copper colored Perfect Pearls. :)

My card for Friday Sketchers #87

This is the sketch for challenge #87 over at the Friday Sketchers.



And here's my card :)








The main image is a stamp from the Sugar Nellie Autumn kit 2009. I've colored it with my Promarkers.
I made the frame with Spellbinders nestabilities Labels one and Classic Squares large. I first painted it with brown acrylics, and then with white crackle paint. "Min venn" is from Ankas Design.

The stamp on the inside is from Else Irene Meling.

Silly pants :D

Today I made these silly pants for my 2 year old son. He LOVES them! So proud of his new pants, and especially the big pocket! :D

I'm going to sew elastic bands at the bottom of the legs, I just have to buy the elastics first.





The elephant is a pattern from a norwegian crafts magazine from 1978! (Alt om Håndarbeide nr 1, september 1978.) :D I ♥ retro! :D

I didn't have any sewing pattern or instructions, I just drew a pattern from a pair of pants he fits at the moment. This is the first pair of pants I've made, so I'm happy with the way they turned out. :)

Ready Steady Stamp challenge #6

I made my own glimmer spray, using Distress reinkers, perfect pearls and water. I used it to make the background paper. I've used stamps from Tim Holtz and Stempelglede. The letters are rub ons from Kaiser Craft. The B is chipboard I've painted with silver Paint Dabber, and then inked with black ink.

I've used the new digistamp Birthday Boy Ian from The greeting Farm. I have colored Ian with my Promarkers. I also added some stickles to the ribbons on top of his presents, to add some sparkle. :)
The text Hurra! is from Anka's Design.
I covered the chipboard star with Bazzill, stamped the text, drew some stiches and covered it with Diamond Glaze.
