Little Tangles, Challenge 78 Rainbow

Hi!

Here's my first Little Tangles entry. Had to join the rainbow challenge, I love rainbows! :D

I used the Neat and Tangled Scandinavian Prints stamp set.
First I cut out small circles and heat embossed flowers on them. I then painted them "sloppy watercolor style" (LOL ) using Twinkling H2O's. I also stamped leaves, and fuzzy cut them.

The rainbow panel is made with distress inks and Ink Dusters, and then I sprinkled some water on and let it dry.

The sentiment, one leaf, and 2 of the flowers are mounted on 3D foam tape.

Supplies:Stamps: Neat and Tangled Scandinavian Prints.
Other: Distress inks, Ink Dusters, dies from MFT and Spellbinders, 3D Foam tape, Green Apple and Evergreen Simon Says Stamp ink, Versamark and Versafine ink, Clear embossing powder, and my MISTI.

Thank you for visiting my blog!
Have a nice day! :)

Hi!
Here's two more CAS cards. This time with flowers from Neat and Tangled.
Til verdens beste venn means "For the best friend in the world".

The MISTI was essential in making these cards! :)

Supplies:

Stamps: Scandinavian Prints by Neat and Tangled, and "Til verdens beste venn" from Norsk Stempelblad.
Inks: Simon Says Stamp: Rosie Cheeks and Green Apple. Hero Arts: Butter Bar, Soft Pool, Orange Soda and Charcoal.
Other: Die from My Favorite Things, green cardstock from Simon Says Stamp, and white cardstock from Neenah. And of course, my MISTI.

Have a nice day! :)

Quick MISTI trick for narrow stamps. (I LOVE my MISTI! )

Hi!

Just wanted to share this quick tip. :)

Very narrow stamps, like flower stems, balloon strings etc. can be a bit tricky. If you position them on the paper, the stamps will fall over, and you can't just pick it up with the MISTI lid. Trying to find the perfect position for the stamp by moving it around until it's in the right place can take a little time. But with this trick, it's super easy to place the stamp in the perfect position.

1. Thin stamps fall over to the side, so it's hard to pick it up with the MISTI lid.

2. Put the stamp aside for a few seconds.
Close the MISTI and place a post it note on the outside of the lid, in the exact spot you want your
stamp. Make sure you place the top of your post it where you want the top of the stamp.

3. Open the MISTI. Align your stamp with the post it. Easy peasy!

5 & 6. Ink up your stamp, and be amazed by your creation! ;)

The stamps are from the Scandinavian Prints stamp set, by Neat and Tangled.
(The cards I made is coming soon. :) )

Dear Mom

Yet another CAS card. Almost a one layer card. ;)

I think this stamped image is so beautiful, I didn't want to add anything else, except a small sentiment that says Dear Mom in Norwegian.

I've stamped the image with Versamark, and embossed with clear embossing powder, and coloured it with my Copic Sketch markers. I'm not sure if this will harm my markers, but I couldn't see anything happening to the embossed lines, or the markers, so I took the chance. (I've heard that clear embossing powder is fine, but coloured will "melt" and ruin the marker. Not sure if that's true.)

Supplies:

Stamps: Mother & Child, from Whiff Of Joy, and Kjære mamma from Norsk Stempelblad.
Cardstock: White cardstock from Simon Says Stamp, and Desert Storm from Neenah.
Other: Versamark ink, clear detail embossing powder from Simon Says Stamp, Blueprints 13 from My Favorite Things, Copic Sketch markers, and my MISTI.

Have a nice day! :)
