A young guest on my blog. :)

Hi!

Today I'm having a young guest on my blog. :)

My 8 year old son made this card for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.
The challenge this time was "Stencil it".

He used Distress inks in the colors Stormy Sky and Chipped Saphire, and blended it onto
the panel with a blending tool, and then flicked some water on. When it was dry he applied modeling paste through a star stencil. (Waiting for the paste to dry was super boring! ;) )

He used a die from My Favorite Things to cut the banner, and stamped Happy Birthday, using the MISTI stamp tool and Versafine ink.

He used the Scor Pal to score the card base, and adhered his panel on it. The banner with the sentiment is mounted on foam tape.

I really hope you like his card! :)
He was very happy with it, and pointed out that he's just a beginner, and not like me, "who make like maybe FIVE cards a year!!" LOL!

Stencil and stamp is from Practical Publishing. (It was a freebie in a magazine.)
The large stitched panel, and the small fishtail banner are dies from My Favorite Things.

Thank you for stopping by! :)

(PS. He would love some kind comments on his card. :) )

For et stilig kort sønnen din har laget! Synes det ser ordentlig proft ut! Så fine farger og stilig med stjernene.

Ja, jeg er enig - det er kjedelig å måtte vente på at ting tørker. :-)
