Birthday girl

Here's a birthday card I've made with my new stamp from
Stampotique Originals

A litle detail:

I've painted the girl with distress ink, and i also died the cotton thread on the button with distress ink. The text is made with a
Dymo Junior
. I just cut a strip of bazzill in the same size as the dymo tape, and ran it through the dymo, and then I dabbed the strips with a black ink pad.

The stamp is called Moth Fab and is from Stampotique Originals.

Some new cards

I've had a though couple of weeks.
My dad passed away june 30. He's had cancer for almost 3 years, and we knew he wouldn't get cured. He was in a lot of pain, so I guess it was a relief for him to get home to God. But it will probably take some time to get used to not having him among us anymore.

I've made a few cards, to keep my mind occupied.

Spritz & flick technique.
The flower stamp is Pash from Penny black, and the text is from ClubStamp.

**********************************************************************************

The boots are painted with Twinkling H2O's.
"These boots" from Stamp-It and the text is from Norsk Stempelblad, and the tiny writing on the flowers are from Panduro.

***********************************************************************************

A different birthday card. :)
(Not inspired by my dad, that was just a coincidence...)

Detail:

************************************************************************************

And here's a christmas card.

It's sort of the spritz & flick technique, but with a twist.
I've mixed perfect pearls and water in a mini mister, and sprayed over the panel, and used this mix to flick with my fingers, so the image is a bit sparkling. Thought it would be a nice touch on a christmas card.

The tree is from Eureka stamps and the text is from Papirloftet.

That's it for now.

Another vintage card

I made this Friendship (Vennskap) card today.
I've used another lovely photo from art-e-zine, you'll find a link in my previous post. :)

The scanner didn't get the colors right, neither did I when I tried to adjust them in Photo Impact. :)

The stamp Vennskap is from
Norsk stempelblad
. And the stamp with the writing, under the paper, down in the left corner, is from Panduro.

Flower card. :)

Here's a quick & easy flower card. I've stamped with Autumn leaves clearstamps. Added some Distress ink around the edges, mounted it on several layers of bazzill, and put a ribbon and some green pearls on it. There's no text on it on purpose. Sometimes you need a simple card that's not for a birthday or any other special occacion, and here it is. :)

My card for this weeks
Friday Sketchers challenge.

Ok, this is definately not a card I'm happy with..!
I'm not good with layers on layers. I wish I was, because it looks beautiful when others make these kind of cards.

Friday Sketchers challenge #4

Here's my card for the
Friday Sketchers challenge #4

Once again our scanner mess things up a little bit. The colors are nicer IRL, and matches perfectly.. Well, you'll just have to use your imagination until I get a new scanner. :)

The stamps I've used are Chick from
Imaginisce
and Gratulerer (congratulations) from
Kreativ Hobby
and the butterfly is from Panduro.

I've painted with Twinkling H2O's, and used Stickles on the chicks wings and the butterfly. :)

Thanks for looking! :)

Yaaaay! Delivery from Cropstop!

I just got these beautiful embossing folders today!
I've been waiting for them to have swiss dots and distressed stripes in stock at the same time, and finally I was lucky! And of course I couldn't resist putting another 2 folders in the shopping basket to..! :P

Later today I'll post a new card, where I've used the swiss dots folder, and the 2 freebie flowers I got from Cropstop. The colors of the flowers fit PERFECT for the card I was making! :) (Just have to wait for the stickles to dry. )

See you later! :)

This is amazing!

This video isn't exactly new, but I think it's worth seeing again, and again!
Can you believe this lady is 84(!!!) years old?!
It's a beatiful song to.

Enjoy!

Today I've been to the dentist, getting my root canal finished. :S
I'm not to happy about going to the dentist. First you get the pain of all the work he's doing with your teeth, and then it REALLY hurts when you get to the part where he says what it costs... (Dentist appointments are pretty expencive in Norway.)

New LO

Made this today, for
this
challenge.
The challenge was to make a clean & simple LO, with only one photo.

A small detail:

It's my sons little hand, holding my finger. He was 1 week old when this photo was taken. :)

I've only made 3 LOs before, so I'm new to scrapbooking,
as you probably can tell.. ;)

Friday Sketchers challenge #3

Here's my card for
the Friday Sktechers challenge #3

I've used Serena from Stampsmith and Airwave from All Night Media.

Best of luck!

Here's a new card, finally!

This is a really boring blog..
I wish I had more time and energy to be a lot more creative, but with a 12 month old boy crawling around, exploring the house, I'm exhausted when the evening's here! :)

Here's a card I made to a challenge at www.rubberstamps.no

The colors are much stronger IRL!

The stamp is Best of luck from Penny Black. The letters are cut using my Klic-N-Kut Element, and the font is called Willow. :)
